Our Mission

Since 2010, we have empowered individuals with advanced home-use photobiomodulation (PBM) technology while driving scientific breakthroughs in brain health and beyond.

Over a decade ago, we invented transcranial brain photobiomodulation (tPBM) and intranasal photobiomodulation (iPBM). Our intranasal-transcranial brain PBM (itPBM) technology, the Vielight Neuro, has demonstrated efficacy in the most independent PBM clinical trials for challenging conditions, with over 500 clinical trial participants in published clinical trials to date.

As the original inventors of brain photobiomodulation, we lead the industry with the largest utility patent portfolio, from Artificial Intelligence (AI)-based neuromodulation, to intranasal-transcranial brain and vagus nerve photobiomodulation.

Guided by a deep commitment to collaboration, we work alongside leading researchers and clinicians worldwide. Our core team brings together neuroscientists, medical doctors and photonics engineers, blending scientific rigor with engineering innovation.

Vielight Inc. is FDA registered as a medical device establishment. Our manufacturing and quality systems are built to meet international quality management standards, certified to ISO 13485:2016 and MDSAP standards.
